Don't forget, just last year the whole entire city was
celebrating the Canadian Olympic team, the medalists,
and some did not bring home the medal, but we love them just
the same.

Vancouver got a large variety of outdoor activities
in the summer, like: Jazz festival, fireworks competition, sport
related activities like the Sun Run, exhibitions, celebrations of
all kind.

The endless sea wall around the west end providing great views
to take that perfect shot of the city, lions gate bridge,
or North shore. Stanley park with it's many trails, Giant trees,

Vancouver Canucks, Stanley Cup Final Game Against Boston Bruins: Message to Vancouver Canucks, Do The Math!

...So after a roller-coaster ride of a play off we arrived to the final game.
Game seven of the 2011 Stanley cup finals between East, and West, Boston Bruins,
and the Vancouver Canucks.

With the first two game won by the Canucks wearing blue in Vancouver, than changing to white jerseys, and lost the next two in Boston, game 3, and 4.

...So we came back to Vancouver put back on the Blue jerseys and won game 5, then we changed again in Boston wearing white loosing the game.

You bet we're gonna be wearing Blue jerseys for game 7 in Vancouver they look much better than the white ones.

It's sure has been a long and grey winter in Vancouver, BC
which slowing us down placing, and finishing concrete.

We do go through this every year mainly because of our
geological location, we get hammered by rain all winter long.
It is a well known fact that you can't finish concrete in
pouring rain.

This past winter has been difficult because when it wasn't
raining we've had freezing temperatures omitting us from
being able to work, so we just had to sit it out.

weathermen are saying there is an 80% chance for rain
that day, and as a concrete contractor you gotta do
your job that day.Living in Vancouver, BC.this could
happen to you often, mainly in the winter, which is
rainy, and mild.

And guess what... while working wouldn't you know?!It
has started to rain.Well if you're smart, you already
have enough poly with you to cover the whole slab,
or have made arraignments to deal with it beforehand .
In case if you didn't know, as soon as water hits the
concrete,you start loosing time, and the chances of
getting aquality finish deteriorating by every drop
of rain falling on your concrete.

So my advise to you is to cover it as soon as possible
to control the damage to a minimum, unless you're into
much concrete repair..., or don't take a chance,
unless it's an absolute must to get the job done.

You can still make the cuts, edges, and broom a
sidewalk with your college lifting up the poly, while
you working underneath, but with a patio, or bigger
driveway, it gets tricky.

Let suppose you're pouring a big slab on grade in the
rain, and it has to be machine finished. there is no
way covering a large surface like that.the best next
thing is for damage control is to wait until is hard
enough to machine without mixing in the water, than
sweep trowel it as you go.

My Friend,Are You Saved? Saved is a Bible word, not a term thought up by
man.
I have been a Christian for almost twenty years, and I find that most
people
still do not have an understanding of God's message of salvation.
First a man has to believe there is a one true God.
Second, that God can do something for him, and wrote what He could do in
the Bible.
The only God that Can Save Souls is the God of the Bible.His name is the
Lord Jesus Christ.

The Word of the Lord Says: "Neither is there salvation in any other name
under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12

A person is saved by putting their complete trust in Jesus Christ, not by
something they do to earn heaven.Trusting is believing.Believing must come
from the heart not the head.Do you love and trust your husband or wife with
your head or heart?Plato, Aristotle, or Einstein could only think as far as
their finite minds were able.They could not even solve the problems of this
life, like sickness, disease, pain hunger,and death,let alone know anything
about eternity.God new we needed something to go by,in his Bible He put
everything there is to know.

The One Sinner

Have you ever sinned? Just once? One Lie? One theft? Once is enough, for
God says:"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"Romans
3:23 A saved sinner has their sins forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.An
unsaved sinner still have their sins on them when they die.No one gets into
heaven with their sins!Nothing unclean gets into heaven.Problem! How do you
get rid of your sins?
Are your sins adding up day by day?Are they too much to keep up with
anymore?Are you saying, "What's the use"? Then Jesus Christ says:Come
unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest."Could you say that to someone and mean it?No? Well, Jesus Christ
can!
In your veins and mine is the blood of our father Adam.We than are born as
sinners, because the word of the Lord says: "Werefore, as by one man sin
entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men,
for that all have sinned:"Romans 5:12 You know that you are guilty as a
sinner, because you know that you are going to die.Our blood is no good
because the Bible says in Ezekiel 16:6,"And when I passed by thee,and saw
thee polluted in thine own blood," therefore we die.

The One Solution

Jesus Christ was not conceived the same way you and I were.The bible says
about Mary, (The Mother of Jesus Christ) "that which was conceived in her
is of the Holy Ghost."Matt 1:20 This means the Lord Jesus Christ has God
as His Father!He had in his veins God's Own Blood,Acts 20:28
The Bible says: "without shedding of blood there is no remission".Our
blood is polluted so it could not be shed to take away our sin.The blood of
the Lord Jesus can take away our sins because He is sinless and his blood
is pure.His blood can remove your sins as far as the East is from the
west.God said he would remember them no more! Isn't that good news!
Wouldn't you want that?

The One Sin

Now here this.people do not go to hell for their sins.they go to hell for
the one sin rejecting Jesus Christ as their sin bearer, their
Substitute,the one who died in their place for their sins.the Bible
says:"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not
is condemned already,because he hath not believed in the only begotten son
of God."
Jesus new how many sins you would commit, but he loves you and he died for
you!getting saved is a supernatural thing between you and God. Man has
nothing to do with it.Would you right now just pray to God and trust Jesus
Christ as your Saviour?

Admitting that I am a sinner, and believing that Jesus died for me,I now
receive him as my own personal Saviour,trusting him to save me from
hell.With his help I intend to confess Him before men."But as many as

I also have been here since the beginning,and lived through a couple of things,as an annual member since 2007 September 15,even before.

Istvan Garai 'dagadt" - drums. Andras Toth"Totyi" - Guitar. Sometime in the spring of 1980 I have decided making a Rock Band. Dodi and I were classmates. We were attending the same music school accustomed to being on stage. We felt the need of expressing ourself,and used to go out to the best youth parks in Budapest, like: Budai, Csepeli, Lorinci, and the Csepeli paper factories club, etc. We would have wanted to play great loud concerts like the biggest bands of the day. Dodi, and Fazek (Pot) resided on the same street. Fazek already new how to run a band, and also was the oldest amongst us, so he became the leader of the group Blicc,(and he did a really good job at it I might ad).Only one more member was needed: a drummer. It was hard finding a good one, but luckily met with one named Dagadt (chubby).He didn’t have a set of drums so we made one for him out of plastic cans and boxes. Dagadt played the ”bass drum ”with a piece wood tied to his shoes. We only had a 10 Watts PA, and one speaker. All were “passive” mixed together, so the loudest instrument ruled, and the rest were distorted. (just the sound we were looking for) Our practice “hall” was an old tool shed, things started getting noisy, and boy, the neighbors sure were long suffering. After a couple times playing together we new that we were going to be really good. Soon after started improving our equipment, Dagi got a drum, that we used as a bass drum, and a cymbal, attached to a fishing rod, used as a stand. His parents saw his dedication, and decided getting him a snare drum, it sure was a “great” thing. Things started picking up, we wrote “original” songs, made a PA system, and a mixer also, and bought some bigger speakers. As winter was approaching we had to find a heated practice hall, we managed to come up with a large basement, where we had our first concert, and became the band Blicc Rock. Played in schools, youth camps, before well known bands, learned about the bright, and dark side of the industry. Our equipment as well our music got better, learned from pro musicians, and music teachers. As years went by we finished high school, and started working. Dodi moved on with his life started college in a different town .Three of us Fazek me ,and Dagadt kept going formed a Rock theater. Our artistic adventure came to a sudden end bringing fruit in the marrige of Fazek without him there was no band, and that is how the story of Blicc Rock Group ended sometime in 1985. John 16:13,14,15 says "Howbeit when he,the Spirit of truth,is come,he will guide you into all truth:for he shall not speak of himself;but whatsoever he shall hear,that shall he speak:and he will shew you things to come.He shall glorify me:for he shall receive of mine,and shall shew it unto you." (the authorized KJB) HE,God all mighty sent his only begotten son into this world to save sinners on planet earth.
